Be a student continuing in pre-health field. Volunteer at the UCD Medical Center within the past 2 years with a minimum of 40 hours, completed in a 3-month period; student receive a scholarship award in one year and applies the following year need an additional 40 hours. Student must provide written verification of volunteer status. Submit a letter of reference from a UCD Medical Center staff person who functions as the applicant's supervisor, reflecting outstanding performance in their volunteer role. |
