COMMUNICATION DISORDERS IN
MULTICULTURAL POPULATIONS
Course Description
This course focuses on the identification, evaluation,
and treatment of multicultural, multilingual clients with communication
disorders. The course includes discussion on normal second language
acquisition, bilingual development, and cultural values related to effective
service delivery for multicultural clients. Prerequisites: SPHP 110,
SPHP 112, SPHP 125, SPHP 126. Spring semester only, 3 units.
