To establish a strong link between The Sutter Health Scholars and the Sutter Health organization, scholars will, in writing or in person, present progress reports to the Sutter Health Foundation annually. Other criteria will include: 1. Special honors, recognition, or accomplishments in teh areas of scholarship, leadership or community service; 2. Paid and unpaid work experience related to career goal; 3. Career plans after graduation; 4. Personal circumstances i.e., financial need, disadvantaged status; 5. Statement of values indicating commitment to caring, service, learning and leadership; 6. Demographics of scholarship recipients reflects the demographics of the greater Sacramento region community served by both the colleges and Sutter Health Sacramento Sierra Region. The counties are Sacramento, Placer, Yolo, and El Dorado.
