Note for Registration

Some Sac State students may notice that some courses have some odd course section numbers, where the sequence goes 01, 02, 03, and then skips to 50.

CRJ courses with a course section number of 50 or above are sections assigned to a cohorted program run through the College of Continuing Education.  These courses are not available to regular Sac State students.

CRJ Class Adds & Drops

To add or drop a class, use this form.

Adds require an attached explanation describing the University error that prevented a timely add.

Drops require an attached explanation of medical or employment reason, and supporting documentation from a doctor or employer.

Both require:

* the instructor's signature
* the Chair's signature (ALP-137)
* the Dean's signature (SLN-5002)
If your add is on the pink form, you will need to get a new signature on the above form.

CRJ Student Advising Center

The CRJ Student Center has moved across the hall.

It is now located at ALP-133, two doors to the right of the CRJ office.

Be Advised!  Declare Yourself!

All new Criminal Justice freshman and transfer students are assigned to an advisor to facilitate their transition into the program and to assist in planning their academic careers.

New students must come to the Criminal Justice Student Advising Center to schedule an appointment to meet with their advisor during their first semester at CSUS.  The Center is also available for any student with questions about the major or wishing to be referred to a faculty advisor.

Please note that pre-majors are ineligible for upper division Criminal Justice classes.  For information on becoming a major, click here.
