Curriculum discussions were organized within the Division of Nursing to create the template for integration of information competence learning activities and outcomes consistent with University guidelines for graduation.  (See curricular document.)  A new summative objective was added.  Level behaviors and specific course objectives for IC have not yet been determined.

 

In Nursing the Childbearing Family (fourth semester), activities were added to require demonstration of IC skills including finding research abstracts to substantiate evidence-based practice.  Students without these skills are referred to take one or more of a series of excellent seminars provided by the library.
