This one day training is required for all new field instructors.

“Advanced Field Instructor” Training
8:30am – 12:30pm, University Union, Capital Rm (3rd floor)
This is a half day refresher for the experienced field instructor.

Tuesday, August 18

“Introduction to Field Instruction” Training
8:30am – 4:00pm, University Union, Foothill Suite (3rd floor)
This one day training is required for all new field instructors.

For undergraduate students beginning their field placements, Fall 2009.  Students must be enrolled in corresponding sections of SWRK 140B & SWRK 195A.

Masters Writing Workshop
9:00am – Noon, University Union, Hind Auditorium (1st floor)
Mandatory for new, incoming MSW students.

Masters Field & Academic Orientation, Part B

Students must deliver and discuss Field Syllabus and Learning Agreement to field instructor no later than September 25, 2009.

Learning Agreements Due
To be completed and turned in to student’s faculty field liaison.

Signed, original Field Evaluation to be turned in to student’s field liaison.  DO NOT TURN IN TO SOCIAL WORK OFFICE OR FIELD BOX.  Failure to submit a complete Field Evaluation by this date may result in student receiving an “Incomplete” in SWRK 195A for the semester.
