N14
PHARMACOLOGY
Overview
N14 is an introductory
pharmacology course taught in Fall, Spring and sometimes Summer semesters. In Spring and Fall it is available by distance education, being broadcast on cable television and video streamed over the internet. All tests and assignments are open note/book/internet/PDA and are done over the internet. Weekly quizzes start right away and there are no makeups, so timely access to the course's WebCT site is imperative. Students need to come to the Sacramento State campus only for the final exam. A saclink account is required for web
access via WebCT. N14 is open to all majors and encouraged
for pre-healthcare, as well as chemistry and business majors interested in employment in the pharmaceutical industry. N14 is required for
physical therapy and nursing majors.
2 units. Prerequisite: Basic human physiology.
Open University (Continuing Education) students are welcome. Please have add slips signed in El Dorado Hall or by faculty so that you can obtain a saclink account the first week of classes.
