ADVANCED Concepts OF Pathophysiology

Overview

This course focuses on the cellular mechanisms by which disease occurs, the body's response to the disease process, and the effects of the disease process on normal function. Emphasis will be placed on application of principles taken from anatomy/histology, hematology, biology, biochemistry, immunology, physiology, and laboratory science to the study of the pathogenesis and manifestation of disease. Both general and systemic pathology and pathophysiology is discussed.
