PHARMACOLOGY For Advanced Practice
Overview
This course provides a conceptual and systematic study of pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacoeconomics and therapeutic implications for healthcare practitioners. Efficient use of traditional and web based pharmaceutical resources is taught and encouraged. Monthly Saturday seminars supplement internet activities. The course is designed to meet Board of Registered Nursing requirements for prescriptive privileges. Familiarity with disease processes is required. 3 units.
