Introduction to using the course pages
This page should help you navigate through the course pages. First I will describe for you the technology you will need for using these pages. I will describe what you will find on each of the five basic pages in the course and I will go over how to navigate the course pages.
Technology
Requirements
Students will need an electronic mail account and computer
access to the Web. All CSUS students enrolled in one or more
units can create a Sac Link account for electronic mail and
Internet services. Although a home computer with a high speed
modem running Netscape or Internet Explorer would be beneficial,
students can use the Web from one of the campus student labs.
Click on the blue student lab link to go to a directory of lab
locations and open hours. After you get there, come back to this
page by clicking on the back arrow at the top of the page.

What
is on the Course Pages
The five course pages are: overview, syllabus, assignments,
calendar, and class modules. Here is a brief description of what
you will find on each of these course pages.
Navigating
the Course Pages
You can go back
and forth from course page to course page by clicking on the page
names in the green menu bar at the top or bottom of each course
page. There is also a menu at the top of the page below the green
menubar. This is for clicking and moving to selected spots within
the page.To move around within each page there are arrows
pointing to the top of the page at various spots on the page.
Clicking on these arrows will take you to the page top where you
can click on another page or go to another spot on the same page.
At the top of all of the course pages there is a picture of a
house
Clicking
on this house in any course page will bring you back to this
page. You may also click on the back arrow of your browser. This
will take you back, page-by-page whereever you have been during
the current session. The forward arrows will go forward by page as
well.
