CRJ Course Renumbering As of Fall 2010, CRJ courses will be renumbered so that their numerical sequence reflects the order in which they ought to be taken, and so related courses will be grouped together. The old numbers are still in use for Spring 2010; however, the Spring schedule is listing new numbers for prerequisites. So, to aid the transition, download a CRJ Course Renumbering Translator. It lists the old and new numbers with the course titles and prerequisites so everyone can be on the same page even if the numbers are wrong. Spring 2010 Internships To apply, you must attend one of the mandatory orientation sessions listed below and bring with you your completed application & list of placements at which you would like to intern.

Thinking of a Master's Degree? Before you apply, learn about the upcoming program offerings. New CRJ major requirements Beginning Fall 2008, Criminal Justice pre-majors must complete CRJ 001, 002, 004, and 005 with a grade of C or better to be eligible to be reclassified to major status. A Student To-Do List
Note for Registration Some Sac State students may notice that some courses have some odd course section numbers, where the sequence goes 01, 02, 03, and then skips to 50. CRJ courses with a course section number of 50 or above are sections assigned to a cohorted program run through the College of Continuing Education. These courses are not available to regular Sac State students. Be Advised! Declare Yourself! All new Criminal Justice freshman and transfer students are assigned to an advisor to facilitate their transition into the program and to assist in planning their academic careers. New students must come to the Criminal Justice Student Advising Center to schedule an appointment to meet with their advisor during their first semester at CSUS. The Center is also available for any student with questions about the major or wishing to be referred to a faculty advisor. Please note that pre-majors are ineligible for upper division Criminal Justice classes. For information on becoming a major, click here.
