(CHHSR)

Our Mission

The Center of Health and Human Services Research (CHHSR) was instituted in June 1997 with the primary purpose of promoting applied research, interdisciplinary education, and program development in health and human services.

Our mission is to serve as a focal point for interdisciplinary applied research. We desire to provide assistance to community groups and agencies seeking to expand and improve programs and services through evaluation, research, and program development.

We aim to develop primary and/or continuing education opportunities for students and practitioners involved in human service and health professions.

We will promote forums in which scholars, educators, practitioners, policy makers, and others interested in issues related to health and human services can meet present, exchange, and discuss ideas.
